Company President Missy Loewe has more than a decade of expertise in the art business field, serving as academic dean and lead business instructor at Washington School of Photography. She is also co-founder and board president of the non-profit Capitol Arts Network, where she has jurored dozens of shows through the years. As co-founder of the website ArtPerk.com, she designed a free and easily searchable database of art opportunities. Her academic experience, master’s degree in management and law degree give her unique insight into how the most creative artists can fall victim to bad business practices. She founded Visual Arts Consulting to assist artists in their quest for both artistic and business success.
