Slide/CD Submission Review - $75
You provide your current juried show or gallery query package: slides or typical CD of us up 12 images, plus typical packaging and any inserts, and we will review and make suggestions for improvement. These may include new images of your work, slide/CD look and standards, packaging suggestions, and comments on any inserts. Once provided, your work with a detailed action plan for improvement and suggestions will be returned within two weeks.

Resume/Artist Statement Review - $75
You can either email or hard copy mail your resume and artists statement, and we will review and make suggestions for improvement. These will include formatting, paper (if hard copy mailed), presentation, wording, and other tips to get your biography noticed in a good way. Once provided, you will receive our suggestions within two weeks.

Press Release Draft & Send - $125
If you have an upcoming solo show, have been accepted into a juried exhibition, or just want the world to know about your artwork, we can draft your press release. You may email, phone, or mail information to include in the press release. Once you approve the draft, we will send it to up to ten media contacts in your location or the city of your choice.

Model Release Draft - $95
When a person is clearly shown in an image for a commercial product, you often need a model release from the subject. Often, it is wise to obtain a release no matter what the intended use, because you never know what you may wish to use the image for in the future. We will provide a suggested model release draft.

Photograph Artwork - price varies
No matter how great your artwork is, if you have bad images, no one will likely accept your work. If you need great images of your work and are in the DC/Baltimore area, we can provide you with those images, in the size and file type most used by galleries and juried shows. The cost of this service will depend on location (we have studio space in Bethesda or can come to you), number of images, and complexity of required lighting.

Trademark Registration - $550
Your business name, logo, or symbol are uniquely yours and should be protected. We provide trademark registration services, from application to approval.

Copyright Registration - $175
Your artwork, be it painting, sculpture, mixed media, or photograph, is the outcome of hard work, and is the heart and soul of your business. Protecting unauthorized use by others is critical. We will work with you to determine the best method to present your work for registration, and once received, will handle the process from application through approval.

Business Registration and Formation - $200 to $750 plus state registration fees, depending on type of business formed
We will have a phone on in-person consultation to discuss your business, then recommend a type of business formation for your situation. The plusses and minuses of a sole proprietor, partnership, limited liability company, and incorporation will be detailed, then the proper paperwork will be filed with the state to establish your business.

One-Time Basic Consultation - $175
We will review all of your current marketing materials: slide/CD submission, resume and artists statement, any press releases, and images of your artwork and provide feedback for ways to improve. You will also receive a packet of tips, suggested contacts, and an outline of how to build your art business.

Artists Media Kit for Washington, DC – $95
This kit includes all you need to get the word out about an event, opening, or just to tell the world you’re ready to be noticed! Included are a draft/sample press release that you have permission to copy with your own information included, plus email addresses and mailing labels for media and arts venues all over the DC area. Over 75 contacts are included.

Annual Contracts
Annual contracts are available for a limited number of artists who want to concentrate on making art, while others help manage their business. While the listed services at each level are typical of those provided, we are always on the lookout for more opportunities for our artists and pass along all relevant news, tips, and leads as they are received.
